How far do you travel?

Anywhere!
I’m based in Inverness but will travel anywhere you would like to book me for. Trials can be arranged in Inverness or through a consultation call. For bookings in the UK that require me to leave home before 6am, an overnight stay will be necessary.

How many hair ups can you do?

The number of hair ups that can be accommodated will depend on the wedding start time and the specific hairstyle the bride is requesting. Typically, 6 is a comfortable number although this isn't set in stone. Please contact to discuss if you have a large wedding party  

 

I am only having a small wedding. Do you have a minimum travel requirement?

This will depend on the time of year you're getting married. On weekends between June and August I only offer The ultimate bridal package and elopements.  Any other time of year, smaller wedding packages are available.

Can I have a trial before I book?

Yes, although please be aware I cannot hold any dates in the meantime. I offer previews to Brides, mothers, bridesmaids and flowergirls. Send me a message and we can get a date organised for you. 

How do we prepare for your booking?

Personally. I prefer hair washed the night before of the morning of. Blow dried straight with a brush. For ladies with fine hair a thickening moose/product would be recommended to get the best out of your hair up.
If you plan to wear your hair down or have an oily scalp please wash your hair that morning but please ensure it is dry ready for styling. Wet hair will not be styled, this will add a delay in the time schedule set.
If you or a member of your bridal party have naturally curly hair how you plan to have it will change the above. Please ask the individual to contact me so we can discuss how best to prepare for their styling. 

Do you also do make up? 

Make up is not a skill I possess. I do however I have a list of some extremely talented make up artists local and further afield if you would like some recommendations please ask. 

Is my retainer refundable?

Unfortunately, not. However, it is transferable for a small admin fee.

If I am not able to attend your wedding for any reason the full balance paid would be refunded. Including the retainer.

What is a hair up bar?

It's an 'on location' Hair stylist, set up in one place saving those who may be unfamiliar with the area or not wanting to travel to get their hair done. A make-up artist can also be arranged to attend at an extra cost. 

Perfect for location weddings, providing hair ups for those not included in the bridal party morning. Guests can book this service between themselves, or the Bride and Groom may wish to provide this service for their loved ones as a special treat.
